In 1970, Dr. H.D. Williams, together with his wife, Patricia, and their two sons, left the bustling east coast of Florida to start his medical practice in the small Florida town of New Port Richey. As time went by, a small town turned into a large opportunity for their son David who played a large role in developing the untouched lands into beautiful and thriving communities.

David Williams established the first of his development companies in 1985. Initially, he saw a need for neighborhoods with custom homes and larger lot sizes to preserve trees, where roads would be skillfully planned around existing landscape. David began his vision with the design of a small gated subdivision that later became the unique and admired community of Crescent Forest. The development of additional communities around Tampa bay quickly followed:

Crescent Forest
• Oakridge Estates
Springwood Estates

Riviera
• Golden Acres Estates
The Reserve at Golden Acres

• Golden Valley
• Forest Pointe
• Bella Terra

Scott and Dean Williams, two of David’s sons, shared a similar aspiration for building construction. They are both licensed building contractors with experience ranging from small remodels to extravagant homes. Always with building homes in mind and after a successful career in land development, David, Scott and Dean created Covenant Homes, a (Christian) faith-based building company that specializes in new home construction and renovations.

As David’s developments grew, so did his faith and his family. Over the years, he and his wife, Dawn, have enjoyed the blessings of five sons, three daughters-in-law, and (to-date) eight grandchildren.

You and your family will work together with the Williams Family to build your new Covenant Home. Scott and/or Dean will be on site regularly to manage the entire construction process. David oversees the company operations. Brad can assist you in obtaining financing. Luke is working hard behind the scenes. Justina, Sarah and Dawn will ensure that the final finishing touches change your “house” into a “home” when your family is ready to move in.
