When you’re prepared to embark on the journey of building your custom home, Covenant Homes will stand by your side at every step. Collaboratively, we will transform your dream home into a reality through our proven design-build method, meticulously tailored to align with your distinctive vision and requirements.

Step 1: Pre-Approval

We have received approval from numerous construction loan lenders; nevertheless, the lenders listed below are our preferred partners. Feel free to reach out to them directly or contact us for additional information.

Step 2: Lot Assessment

Upon the execution of the property contract, Covenant Homes will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the site, including site work, impact fees, and any well or septic-related expenses (where applicable). We will establish a predefined allowance for these components, which will be integrated into the overall cost of your home. Any funds remaining below the allocated allowance upon project completion will be promptly credited back to you.

Step 3: Home Selection

We are dedicated to tailoring our models to align with your preferences! The most straightforward and cost-effective approach is to select from our range of existing models and make any necessary adjustments. Should you opt for substantial changes to the structural layout, it transitions into a custom home project, entailing a different process. Furthermore, we extend custom home options beyond those featured on our website. If you have a specific design concept in mind, kindly share it with us, and we can present you with additional unadvertised floor plan choices that may better meet your requirements.

Step 4: Kick-Off & Design Meeting

After obtaining your pre-approval and evaluating your property, we’ll schedule a meeting, either in person or via Zoom. During this meeting, we’ll discuss the upcoming stages, the entire process, and various design choices, including flooring, cabinets, paint colors, and more.

Step 5: Budget & Building Contract

 We begin building your dream home! Our build time is approximately 12 months once we break ground (this may vary if your home requires pilings or specialty foundation).
