Sarah & Scott’s Easter Tradition
One of our favorite Easter traditions is making an Easter garden together since our family loves being outside and gardening. We start with a fun adventure by going on a stick hunt in the backyard to find the perfect sticks for the crosses.
We then have the kids help spread the grass seed and carefully place the rocks for the path. They kids enjoy watering it daily and watching it grow. When we water the grass we talk about what the cross and the empty tomb means for us, Jesus’ sacrifice for our sin and our Risen, living King.
As we pass it each day, it’s the perfect reminder of what makes Easter so special and why we celebrate.
